ONG POR 1 SORRISO
The Municipal Government of Sapucaí-Mirim, through the Health Secretariat, in partnership with the NGO Por 1 Sorriso, carried out an initiative between March 24th and 30th, 2025, focused on providing dental care to the underprivileged population. The objective was to offer complete dental consultations and treatments, ensuring better health and quality of life for the residents.
The NGO For 1 Smile was present in the municipality with a team composed of volunteers from various parts of Brazil, including dentists, students, employees, prosthetists, coordinators, assistants, a photographer, and a driver.
In total, 1,370 procedures were performed in 154 dental appointments across major specialties, such as esthetic dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, surgery, and pediatric dentistry, all carried out with high-quality materials and equipment. Among the procedures performed, the following stand out:

All patients received guidance after their appointments and oral hygiene kits provided by the sponsor Oral-B, containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, and mouthwash.
Mayor Nilsinho, Vice-Mayor Viviane, and the City Councilors thank the NGO Por 1 Sorriso for their partnership, trust, and excellent services provided to the population of Sapucaí-Mirim. This initiative reaffirms the municipality's commitment to the health and well-being of its citizens!
